Activities Director


Responsibilities:
Responsibility for developing, planning, implementing andevaluation activity programs for residents in accordance with state and federalregulations.
Ensure that the spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure andsocial needs of the residents are maintained on a group and individual basis.
Qualifications:
oCTRS, MMT, or AT preferred.
oMust have RAC and be in good standing, ifnot a CTRS, MMT, or AT.
oAt least 1 year of experience working in theActivities Department in a healthcare setting.
oMust have the ability to read and write inEnglish and follow oral and written directions.
oMust have a genuine interest and caring forthe elderly.
oMust be able to relate positively toresidents and family and to work cooperatively with other employees.
oMust be capable of maintaining regularattendance.
oMust meet all federal, state and localhealth regulations and pass a post-employment-offer physical exam.
Thisrequirement includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and referenceinquiries.
oMust be able to perform the essentialfunctions of this job, with or without accommodation.
oMust be aware of the recreational needs ofthe elderly and cognitively impaired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
