Account Executive

BASIC FUNCTION: This position is responsible for a variety of field office sales and sales support activities.  This includes implementation and enrollmentsupport, cross-selling lines of coverage, product education, customer service and problem solving, as well as renewal persistency. The Account Executive is also responsible for building and managing relationships with assigned brokers and agents.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: May perform duties unique to the area, such as: Coordinate the implementation meetings with internal and external staff, broker consultant and client representatives. Coordinate with internal and external implementation team regarding business process and technology support. Create detailed project plans and timelines as needed to support the installation and ongoing support of Regional Accounts. Work with Account Management and Sales teams and participates on finalist teams for Regional Accounts as needed. Coordinate on-site employee enrollments for products, as deemed necessary.  As necessary, train the group's benefits staff in conducting meetings.  Coordinate the administrative process through the group benefits staff. Analyze and interpret RFP's and other supporting documents and meet with clients, vendors and internal departments to identify, assess, manage and measure current and needed sold capabilities and sold implementation support.  Coordinate and monitor the implementation of new products and product changes.  Coordinate the flow of information from the General Agents and brokers to the appropriate internal departments. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date base and working knowledge of operational policies. Maintain knowledge of new and current products, traditional and non-traditional, operations, funding options and cost containment programs to ensure continued profitability. Remain attuned to individual characteristics of assigned group and continually build effective relationships with group officials and brokers to ensure the conservation of the business, and to research and resolve any service problems clients may experience. Coordinate renewal presentations to assure conservation of business and works in partnership with sales rep to present renewals as needed. Recommend and promote broker and group policyholder to increase benefit levels or add additional benefits to group contract. Serve as liaison between internal departments and the customer.  Address service issues and drive resolution development and implementation. Instruct and counsel brokers on all Basic/Voluntary Life, Disability, and Dental products, legislative compliance and administrative policies within the assigned region.  Coordinate broker training programs, provides high quality service and reliable advice to build and preserve positive relations with account contacts. Work within marketing to lead marketing projects, launch new products and enhance existing products. Coordinate sales materials (brochures, forms, and administrative manuals) within the specific regions(s). Coordinate the development of sales materials (brochures, forms, and administrative manuals) within the specific regions(s). Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.          JOB REQUIREMENTS:                Bachelor Degree and 4 years insurance, marketing, underwriting or customer service experienceOR 8 years experience in insurance, marketing, underwriting, or customer service.                State license to sell life insurance or must obtain license within 90 days.                Knowledge of group insurance underwriting and sales functions.                Knowledge with benefits, rate calculations, billing and insurance terminology.                PC proficiency to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.                Experience coordinating data input and proposal development.                Experience organizing, planning, and coordinating multiple functions simultaneously.                Clear and concise verbal and written, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.                Ability to travel.                Valid Drivers license.   PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:                Bachelordegree in Business or Marketing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
